Why arn't we able to buy pure from shop.

I have the qi but I still have to pay usd.

Pure items are now obtainable from the torishop for USD instead of TC.
This is to insure and maintain the consistency/stock/rarity of the items so they don't lose their value.
If you don't happen to have any USD/paypal, but you do have the QI, your best choice to buy the pure would be from the market or the forums.
