Strategies for enhancement(ways to get better)
This article presents my personal experience of developing a gaming style and skills.. I was not able to fully outline all the information within one message, so I limited myself to a brief explanation.
This article is not a complete solution to the problems.

Introduction
Dear player, we have each faced moments when progress seems to have stopped. I have personally experienced many similar situations, so I would like to share tips for both beginners and experienced players.
Biography
In order for new participants to have an idea of my qualifications and the grounds for providing recommendations, let me briefly present my experience. In the past, I led three clans: Silver Crow, Deadly Sin, and the Bionicle, the latter of which I still lead. In 2018, I participated in the Legend of the Game tournament. My dueling activism on ABD also contributed to my recognition. I am currently focused on improving my gaming style, specifically realistic sparring in aikido, abd, lenshu, xspar mods.

Game styles

Victory at all costs
Initially, my style of play was characterized by a rigid dominance in points, regardless of the realism of the movements.
If this approach suits your preferences, I recommend exploring the sets of movements of various players, as well as using YouTube to gain a full understanding of their principles. As an example, I can offer watching videos of tournaments. Feel free to use scripts to remember movements. This style is now ubiquitously applied in the game to achieve a fully memorized sequence of movements. It doesn't take long to find such sets of movements.

To select suitable movements, you can either develop them yourself or use the best practices of other participants. In most cases, you will be supported, as our community is characterized by goodwill.

Style game
I am currently adopting a hybrid style that integrates elements of kickboxing and aikido. The emphasis is on arm and leg striking techniques, using techniques adapted from real-world situations.
Mastering this style requires significant time commitment, creativity, and personal experience, especially if you have a sporting background.
When performing movements, for example, when turning the body, it is recommended to use a muscle relaxation technique, and then, just before starting the movement, put it in a state of tension or relaxation, depending on the dynamics required. This advice applies to all muscle groups.
Tips
Finally, we go directly to recommendations for improving your game and understanding the optimal actions and solutions.
  • Limiting your game
My learning philosophy is about setting limits. For example, when I practiced the "win at all costs" style, I set myself an ultimatum: "Do not grab the opponent's legs," which allowed me to narrow my train of thought and made it more difficult for the opponent to understand my train of thought. Did you have the thought during the fight, "What should I do next?" or the feeling of "too many different ways of moving"? This approach helps to reduce cognitive load and speed up decision-making.

For the rapid adoption of boxing in fashions like Lenshu, I initially used an ultimatum: "Use only your arms or legs, be sure to work on your feet (maintain balance/balance)."
  • Play more
True, it is a hackneyed expression, but it reflects the truth. Competence and knowledge are acquired with experience.
  • Use all four muscle states, especially relaxation
Achieving a smoother and more aesthetic performance does not require ballet training; it is enough to master the relaxation technique. My personal Sambo trainer confirmed that excessive muscle tension restricts movement and leads to unnecessary energy expenditure, which is a fact.
  • Play in a high, not through strength
Initially, the game involves the desire for quick pleasure, rather than being perceived as a routine duty. Otherwise, it can lead to loss of interest and burnout.
  • Play with hit sounds
I personally like it when during the gameplay the musical accompaniment synchronizes with my actions, which stimulates more active interaction.
  • Do not play with the same skin
When using uniform textures and color schemes, your doll may lose its expressiveness, so it is recommended to experiment with different colors and 3D models.
  • Use shaders
A clear white background is an acceptable solution, however, to prevent visual fatigue, it is recommended to change it periodically, as the game's functionality provides such an opportunity.
  • 60fps game
This is not a myth, but a reality; at the moment, 70 frames per second is supported, but the human eye simply does not have time to keep track of the ghost of the dolls. Often, players with a low FPS score are stronger and more resourceful, because their brains have time to analyze the image.

The article may be supplemented over time!
We ask you to share your opinion, perhaps you have a different vision or would like to make additions, If you have any questions, please ask them; I will make every effort to provide comprehensive answers .
Nice idea to help people improving

Smth to add maybe:
Lower graphics - so the joints get this edgy look and you can identify the state of relax/hold/extend/contract much faster

I am playing rn on High Graphics, rtx2080ti has bad flash on joints, so yeah
Some very good tipps here.

Euphoria is a very experienced player , also my favourite active lenshu player, heed his words.

Understanding the basics and getting experience is still the key to understanding Toribash, as Euphoria says.

My personal in-a-nutshell-tipps for new players:

-When you play Toribash think of it as a physicgame first and foremost and a fightinggame second.

and

-At the beginning of your Toribashjourney see a succesfully exectued move(whatever that may be in that match(a kick, a comeback ,not dqing, just a flip, a good grab ...))as an accomplishment regardless if you win or lose that match.

Great tips euphoria, it became evident to me in our last lenshu fight how skilled you are. That matrix reminiscent backbend and block against my head kick at the end was absolutely superb.
