Infinity Blitz (Early Preview)
Infinity Blitz is an upcoming game by Nabi Studios that I've been working on for some time now.
We wanted to try something completely different from Toribash and been playing with a bunch of concepts internally and this is a refined version of one of those projects.



Infinity Blitz is a brick breaker game designed as a time killer that you can casually play whenever you're bored.
Same as Toribash, it revolves around balls.

Infinity Blitz 0.9.4 contains the following features:

  • 78 premade levels that gradually introduce game mechanics and powers
  • Zen mode (endless mode, you play until you run out of lives)
  • Arcade mode (roguelike mode, levels are procedurally generated and you can select unique upgrades every few levels)
  • Shop with permanent upgrades and new color themes
  • Achievements and leaderboards


My original inspiration was a clip I saw on twitter around a year ago (which I can no longer find) where the play area was separated into two halves with a ball on each side. Each time any of the balls hit the edge of their play area, it would spawn a block on the other side - simultaneously growing that ball's own area and shrinking the opponent's. This has eventually become Infinity Blitz's Zen mode.


All feedback is welcome! There are several features that are planned to be added before the release such as different bosses for Arcade mode and more visual variety with block sprites, if you got any other ideas or suggestions then we'd be happy to hear it out.

maybe scale down the effects of the blocks breaking, they get pretty annoying when you break multiple blocks and once, but so far, im sold
also idk if its just for me, but every power up introduction after the multi balls, the description for them don't show up
Love to see it. As much as we all love toribash, I'm sure we can all agree it is a good idea to branch off into new ideas as well.

Genuine question: what's the USP for this compared to other brick breaker games on the market? All of the listed features I feel I've seen before (or similar) in other games

Are you progressing through levels normally or have you pressed the "Unlock all" button in Settings? What happens when you collect the orb for the first time, it just doesn't open any menu and the game keeps going?

Games we've seen either suck visually, do not provide enough replayability or are too basic, so that's what we think we can do better. At the end of the day though, we liked playing with the concept and just felt that it'd be a fun game.
One of the earlier builds also had a multiplayer VS mode which was revolving around area control but we had to cut it for release as it didn't feel good enough.

i think both should be good, and maybe give the ball an outline to make it pop-out a little more, it blends into the effects a little too well

i didnt even know there was an unlock all option, i reset the app and its working fine now
