World was at peace. There were 4 factions, all of which built their civilizations. The world was divided into quarters, each quarter filled with billions of people. Earth's population was at it's peak, with 17 billion or more human inhabitants. The 3rd faction, that went by the name of "Juggernauts" began to seek more land, for it was the largest faction and couldn't fit in it's own quarter. So they pleaded with the other factions whether they could have more land from them or not, however none of the other factions agreed, and kept their own land - for a while, at least. The Juggernauts were closest to the "Hunters" and "Warriors" factions. They knew they weren't going to be reasoned with, so they gathered their troops. Ready for war. They began with an organized attack on the Hunters faction, however the Hunters were very skilled and stealthy. The Juggernauts were ambushed, however there was only a handful of Juggernauts that went in to attack. The Warriors were a battle hardened faction, relatively strong. The Juggernauts sent half their troops to conquer the Warriors, but they failed miserably, each troop was either killed or taken captive. The Juggernauts knew they were losing, but a scientist originating from the Berthax faction (the strongest all-rounded faction) developed a weapon so strong that it could annihilate earth itself. The Juggernauts, with their new-found weapon, threatened and forced the factions to surrender, but one faction stood up. The Berthax faction. They struck fear into the Juggernauts hearts, even though their weapons were stronger, they knew they would lose. They were pressured to release the weapons, however the Berthax faction was very quick and created defence systems that deflected the bombings, but they had to land somewhere. The Juggernauts destroyed each faction, including their own, apart from the Berthax Faction. The leader of the Berthax faction hunted the leader of the Juggernauts. The Berthax leader told him "surrender, or suffer." Little did he know, the leader of the Juggernauts was holding a weapon of mass destruction. "If I'm going to suffer, you're gonna suffer with me!" The juggernaut exclaimed. He pushed the button of his weapon, causing a gamma blast so powerful that it left the whole world inflamed, apart from the Berthax clan - they also made defences, but their defences were not strong enough and the blast ripped through 1/6th of the faction. Everyone outside of Berthax's boarders were infected with a virus. A virus that turned them into mutated monsters that were strengthened and enhanced immensely, waiting to pounce and charge at their pray to tear and demolish it. They were still not as powerful physically as the Berthax clan, however. Berthax enhanced its training by masses. They were still strong, however there were around 14 billion mutants, and only 3 billion survivors and Berthax members. This was the story of the ongoing Apocolypse.
