Welcome to Fabula Magnus. This org is dedicated to all things RPG, whether it be making them, discussing them or playing them.

KNOW YOUR TERMS!

A GM is a "Game Master". A Game Master is, generally, the god and deciding force of his RPG. GM also refers to the moderators of this organization. You may often see the terms "local GM" and "org GM" or similar. Local GMs refer to the first term while org GMs are the latter.

RPG means "Role Playing Game". In this org, it refers to the types of games we play: where you take the form of a character in a created universe, interacting with the world and story.

IRC is "Internet Relay Chat". We use the IRC channel #magnus to discuss things about the org. #magnus is a hugely important part of the org.

A "turn" is a standard post in which an action takes place.

A "scene" is a series of related turns or actions that describe an event. A battle against town guards is a scene, for instance. Or a chat with a store owner. Or anything that requires multiple turns or actions.

A "sequence" is a series of related scenes. It defines the immediate plot or subplot. This should not be confused with the story itself, which encompasses the entire game.

An Enzu is a mythical creature from the nether. Only one exists, and currently lives in a tin can orbiting Earth.

There are many more terms used by some RPG savvy people which I will not list here. They are fairly easy to figure out, and a list will probably be incomplete/inaccurate.

There are four tiers of GM in this org. Primary, the leader. Secondary, the "co-leader", if you will. Tertiaries, general moderators/backup moderators. Local, the people with their own threads. We will list the top three tiers so you may know the moderators.
