no they are not

The champions are all unique in a sense that mostly all of them are nothing like champions from HoN or DotA.

They have some similarities, though not many, i.e. Katarina's Shunpo is basically a blinkstrike
Blitzcranks hand is basically a pudge hook, Though there are no real direct hero ports.

If you want some fucking OP shit then try heimerdinger or whatever his name is with a full AP build, I had like 300+ damage JUST from the AP added to my turrets ( its not 1 AP = 1 attack )

Yeah, did that my first ever heimer game, turrets blow things up, as well as your rockets and that orb thing hit for like 600-700ish each, ap scales better on those.
