Thanks for your comments! The reason I use ingame preview is simple. I'm making a texture, not some random piece of art. It doesn't matter how cool the flat looks if it looks bad ingame. Sure some people make great art which looks good on flat and in huge preview pictures but when you actually play the game it might look like a mess.
That's why I prefer ingame shots with the size you would see the texture when someone is wearing it.
