yeah, it works if you have downloaded it from the browser, but on steam, nah

Just use both then, steam for MP and the browser client for SP.

This isn't exactly a plausible solution for everyone though.

Mac Users, or at least, my Mac is unable to open the Steam Client and the Toribash Client from the Website simultaneously.

There is always room for improvement.

I haven't tested it with the Steam and client versions at the same time, but there have been probably too many times where I accidentally opened two windows at once. Due to my computer's specs, both windows get really framey, but are still playable. If you're on a PC, steam and client simultaneously should open fine. Mac testing should happen though.

great idea, I can play freeplay while waiting for the tourney to go over to my turn

not 100% related to this post but am i the only one that finds it INCREDIBLY annoying that they cant be semiafk in betservers and watch replays from the forums anymore with steam ofc.
