do you experience kinesthesia in toribash
pretty much my last thread but betterer
Kinesthesis is the perception of body movements and detecting changes in body position and movements. It is also referred to as kinesthesia or kinesthetic sense.

like walking with your eyes closed and being aware of the position and movements of your legs, can you sense your tori?

the poll is just to make things easier to see for everyone but i would like yall to reply and guess your games played across all accounts.
im wondering around how many games it takes to start experiencing it always on or if some people cant at all
1)
do you experience this in toribash
2) how often
2a)rarely
2b)occasionally
2c)always
3) overall games played

yes, in skateboarding u can "feel" "intuitively know" what the board is doing when ur doing a kickflip or whatever, the wording is interchangeable its spatial awareness of an object that isnt part of you, u can do it in toribash too and u should already know the sensation im trying to see how many ppl can do in toribash

That is not what kinesthesia is. It's the feeling of one's body in its position and movements. It's the compliment of our sense of touch. The physical sensation of our own body, but explicitly not what we're touching.

If you can feel your own body somehow doing the things your tori is doing, you're hallucinating, not experiencing kinesthesia.
<Hush> the beat feature sounds like the main event at a circle jerk festival

So you're saying you can basically play toribash and know what your tori is doing without looking at the screen?

i mean i could probably move around without dqing for a lil bit, i dont really count that as playing the game tho, same with the analogy about parking, u use context and stimuli to get a sense of where u are, u use the movement of the ghosts and ur tori to create a scene in ur head of whats happening and what u need to do, the staring at the ghosts and clicking joints, the sense im describing goes in between those 2 steps and u almost certainly do this. 1)stare at ghost 2)visualize what u need to do<- this is possible because of kinesthesia, spatial awareness, proprioception, whatever u wanna call it. 3) click joints.

its more like being reallyy absorbed into a boxing match and twitching/flinching like u were the one throwing or dodging the punch, i can "feel" a twitch or tug when im trying flips n shit, i can sense/feel/visualize/whatever u wanna call it, for me its not so much mental imagery as it is bodily sensations the whole point i wanted with this thread was to see if people experienced this as well and how that subject experience appears to them, it seems alot of ppl in tb experience it in short moments when shit hits the fan in a match not really always on, people ive talked to that have above 30k+ games all kinda agree with me but ive never figured out how they interpret the experience

this sensation is literally the reason ive played this game for so long, movement feels fun. i get just as much enjoyment in singleplayer or fighting a green belt or fighting a god belt, the skill level of the fight doesnt take away from my enjoyment of moving my tori
