What the hell is a PNG? Sorry im new at this so ill be asking alot of questions.=D

Only gimp reads gimp format. :P
Just change the .xcf to .png and gimp should do the rest. Merge your layers first if you have them.

ok i typed in png it has a lot of checkboxs saying
interlacing(adam7)
save back ground
save gamma
save layer offset
save resalution
save creation time
save comment
also copresion level(mine is on 9)
load defaults
save defaults

just dont do anything and press ok.

Save it as .jpg for a flat image. For the spinning globe, save it as .gif. For the spinning globe when your saving dont forget to check a box that pops up with a new screen when saving. Its called: save as animation.

Next i recommend uploading it to photobucket then copy the spinning globe and paste it into your thread.

Ya but its still not spinning, look at my post in the art/texture threads.

When you turn the flat into a spinning globe you save as animation.
Make the frames some were from 20 -35 so it spins rather slow.
Format to save in .gif
