shoveling is a newb move, but that is one time where a newb move isgood. very effective and almost impossible to counter or deshovel

i just kick the legs so the shoveler trips, and if hes not shoveling it does damage

What annoys me, is not shovelling.
People that do the same move, over, and over, and over, and over again, just to win, is what annoys me.

Sure shovels are annoying, but, I'm too sober for this.
I'm going to hang up my hat and call it a day.

Shoveling is just a nub move that people try to do in aikido that makes them win. It's like running in wushu.

I usually lower my arms or rotate the chest to at least TRY to make him fall

If you pick him up and then walk to the end and just slam him, that's not shoveling. Shoveling is when you extend legs and PUSH them out.

There's a similar move in TwinSwords- bend over then leap formward with raised arms- that's extremely hard to counter (unless you're me, but I just had a lot of sare time in free play to work one out )

I personally don't mind it that much, primarily because I use it and can counter it if someone else does also.
