Warner Bros has just offered an internship for those savvy students developing tools to combat piracy. Interns are expected to do any of the following:

monitor

• IRC networks
  
• forums
  
• other file-sharing mediums

scavenge the Internet for

• links
  
• torrents

assistance in finding content

send copyright infringement notices

collect intelligence and report back to the movie studio

Already some pirate communities have promised to infiltrate this internship, meaning there will be agents for the opposite cause on both sides of the battle.

Fighting pirates with pirates is only going to result in more pirated material. i am in favor of this.

They still wont take down the main distributors. TPB will survive. Thats all im worried about.l
