My future(determind my future video card)
hey i need your help on which video card to choose from for the Toribash Real time ray tracing for 4.0.

right now im running on a
old XPS 400

Intel(R) pentium(R) D CPU 2.80 GHz 2.79 GHZ

1.00 GB ram

Windows 32-bit OS

and my current Video card is

ATI RADEON HD 4350 1GB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card

Tb runs slow when i turn on Real time ray tracing

So what im going to do is build my next PC

here are the Spec to my future pc

Case : XClio A380 Full Tower( thank you Rutz for showing me this)

Motherboard :EVGA X58 SLI LE LGA 1366 X58 ATX

Processor: Core i7 920

i have not determind my power supply yet but im thinking about a 850 watt

Now the big question which video card should i get for my system

should i get

ATI Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card

1

or

ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card

or

ATI Radeon HD 4770 512MB DDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card

so which one will be able to use the Real time ray tracing
Also please give me a reason why i should pick that one.
price does not matter to me

thank you for your time

just judging by the sight of the cards...i have no fucking idea :O
I'd prolly go for the 1GB version you listed on there.
Most likely the first one you listed because the fan design does not look like ATI's homebrew design. Usually a tad cooler.
Nice set up btw, but I'd ALWAYS go for a DFI mainboard, way better overclocking ability
<Alan> lol, rutz, it might be cool to smell your ass all the time you touch the mic

thank you rutz

the thing about it is that Radeon HD 5750 fan only covers the Processor
but the Radeon HD 5770 covers the whole video card it self. well right now the Radeon HD 5770 cost about $200. Radeon HD 5750 cost $159 so its cheaper. thats 1 for Radeon HD 5750. also thank you rutz

teh HD 5770 got a core speed of 850Mhz and thats alot (look at the bottom of the page)
more than the 9800GX2
more than the gtx 295
EVEM MORE THAN THE NEW GTX 480!!!!!!

so i will go with the HD 5770 its and asum card

or go for the HD 5870 it a bit better

i checked toms hardware graphics benchmark for far cry 2 and it looks like the 5770 gets the most fps out of the three (even though i cant find the 4770 :P) so I would say go for that. by the way i am using the Nvidia 250GTS and i can run with ray tracing on at 60fps plus its a bit cheaper than a 5770 so you should also check that card out
