i liked korra, imo she fought harder opponents, but then again aang did really have no mentors other than 12 year old children. korra also had no past lives she could connect to.

I think about it the only real problem aang had was Firelord ozai. Korra had to fight the literal definition of evil. I think aang would have failed if the problems he faced as avatar were tougher than just a fire lord.

exactly, aang only fought someone with firebending x2. i mean, this did include the eNTIRE fire nation at the time, but aang was in more of an isolated place, and ozai saw aang and went for him >.<

korra also had to fight a team of 4 mother fricking top tier benders, i think zuko even said that individually they could take down any bender (this was before zaheer got bending, making him x2 powerful). my mans even learned how to fly what the fuck


but i still do like goofy aang more, i continuously wait for new comics to come out, im waiting for the one coming out in 2018, 12th october called imbalance!!1 raven did tell me it might be about some normie earthbenders and if it is will kms completely. i just want to know more about how the fire nation developed, and how the simple fire nation colony of Yu Dao turned into republic city

The thing is, what makes aangs accomplishments more impressive is that he ended the war as a kid. Korra was almost an adult at the time and fighting wasn't the problem for her. So yea her opponents were stronger physically but Korra was a prodigy fighter. Fighting came to her really easy now spiritually is ultimately where she takes the cake in being stronger than aang because she went though a lot of problem just being able to connect and when she did she ended up ultimately fusing the spirit world with the physical world which was still more than what aang could do spiritually and aang was a monk.

but i mean, korra had to do something about the opened spirit portals that were there, she had to make a decision. aang wasn't given an opportunity for it, im sure aang would've opened them because he loved spirits just as much as the next airbender. korra was a bit of an arrogant bitch though

She was, but when you are cooped up whooping on the white lotus sense your a kid I mean you kind of become arrogant. She knew the white lotus was a powerful force and she whooped their asses on a daily basis growing up so can't blame her.

wouldn't the white lotus haven't went easier on her just to make sure she wouldn't have been injured? the white lotus wouldn't have went full force because as a child any adult bender is still stronger than korra. changing the topic,,
