Photoshop
Hey guys I finally got Photoshop so I was just curious, where should I start or do you have any tips I can use as a beginner, I used Photoshop a bit in college but have never had it for home use.

so where should I start?

I would personally play around with all the brushes and see what each one does and
what they all could be useful for.
Second, I would maybe try to put together some kind of head texture and go from there.
Do online tutorials, for example a wood texturing tutorial. This helps you learn new techniques and such.
Mess with the blending options.

Get gud at selecting images/

If you ever have problems with white edges around a selection and it doesnt look clean
press ctrl alt j or ctrl shift j or somethin and it should get rid of it.

Pig said it all, but it is not just tutorials, try to get how things work and what is its use.
if you do steps of a tutorial you may learn just for that use and be a bit limited.
You can look for tools tutorials, dont look for specific tutorials, they wont teach much.
