good work! but i think they need some more shading or something... do you use layers?
put another layer of hair underneath the other layer and colour it a darker red or black.

6/10 for the emo-ish one
4/10 for the black one... i think its too plain

Hmmm.. For First Heads There Ok. You should fill up your designs more, add shading ect. Also Emo Heads Suck to be honest you should try more robot or alien stuff. Usualy gives more impressive results. Out of interrest what drawing program do you use?

its pretty plain,add more detail to the back

Some sharper and prettyer lines wouldn't hurt, also some shading and more details.

Since this is your first i can't bother adding 10 sentences of critisism :P
