Maybe if you made it a grayish and put a drop shadow under it?

The line could be black, and a bit thinner, and put a black drop shadow under the whole thing. I think that will look better :B

How about no line, and make it tear into the background, which would be forum-colored? Or just blur into it? That would be epic
