Pretty nice for a first head. Although the big white thing on the top and back of the head kills the flow. The round parts of the void sections around the eyes don't really match the spikes that they're next to either. Nice and simple though. You could add some shading and it would be a lot better too.
Can't say much about the animation as I haven't done much 3D art but it is smooth so that's good. Looks pretty simple.
