I actually really really like it O.o, I don't know why just has a nice style to it.
I think the simplicity makes it more appealing than most of the clustered heads

I guess I just need to add some detail in the back that is very empty.

reminds me of general griveous.
overall it's a really good head but somehow it lacks reality.
also yes, add something epic at the back.

I think you should make more heads in this style.

The back seems fine to me. Yes it's just one plate. But it makes sense for the back to be just one plate so there's little reason to add more.

It looks a bit plain; you should try to add some more details on the sides and create some more contrast to give it a more 3D effect.

I liked it so well, but I still think it's missing something to add to the sides and back of the head.
