On the 18th of September Scotland will face a vote to determine her future.

Whether Scotland will become an Independent nation or continue to be part of the United Kingdom.

I'd like to know what the rest of the world things, and why you think what you think.

I don't really care too much. I am kind of concerned about the pound losing value because of the oil reserves along the Scottish coastlines but I am pretty sure the result of a Yes vote wouldn't be too disastrous. I like to imagine that England could just invade Scotland again immediately after a Yes vote but this would be politically stupid.

Scotland's tourist industry could benefit from the media attention if they could afford to promote themselves effectively. I do not know enough about economics to have any justifiable strong opinion but I really think it would be a mistake for Scotland to leave the UK.

I hope this is a well formed enough opinion for this thread. Sorry for not being as opinionated as usual.

I think it is great as the drinking guidelines will be raised to 300 units every 45 minutes.
