I couldnt be bothered reading through some of the posts. As most of you know Im a parent. I allow my children to browse the net but I monitor what they are doing they only use the pc in the family room and only when i am in the room aswell.
There is stuff on the net that even I dont wanna see and i defo dont want my kids seeing it.
I think it is important that children learn how to use the internet in a responsible manner as it can play a vital part in their education.

I hate it when people think kids are newfags dumbfucks, i mean really. I watch scary/gory/violent movies with my dad. I watch porn, I know people on the internetz because i know how to treat them. I played a game online on the internet for the first time in like 2005. and i was born in 1999, BUT. I knew there were pedophiles and ugly stuff around because my mother/father told me about those uglyfucks so, when they asked me where i lived, i told them i lived in mars, the moon, etc. so those bastards wont get me, but now. with this stuff like facebook and other social networks. I have friends that are my age and they give away all their information, where they live, what do they do, and oh god. those kids will of course get kidnapped. and also.
kids that are my age are sometimes worse in this internet stuff, i have friends that fap all day, and others that meet pedophiles.
the answer is yes. and i would like that it stays like that, because today that is what is forming the child. what is INFORMING them too, when i talk to my grandpa he tells me about all the stuff he watched, did, and he knows a lot. when i answer him about stuff i searched around the internet, he's just like wow, btw, internet gave me the tools i needed to learn english. Internets gives its users a lot of knowledge and bad stuff too. but if you just get away of the bad stuff. it's better than a school
