ok, its a simple (probably dumb question) but ive been wondering like, where the tc came from? did hampa disperse it in tourneys when the game first came out or did eveyone earn 10 tc at a time (or bought with $) untill there got to be larger amounts?

Probably, through lots of farming and tourneys I'd say. Probably a lot from the shop too.

people sell prizes to people who earn tc from lots of tourneys
this process continues
people buy tc
people make art and sell it for tc
and the cycle continues to this day

Accumulation of matches, tournies, and people buying TC. Remember, there were very few people at first. So they were most likely just fighting the same group of people till it became an orgy of farming. But, there wasn't really another choice but quit playing.

At first I bet that a lot of people bought TC also...

I checked veerry old threads and find that it was only "credits" before.
I guess it became toricredit after naming tori and uke ( Just opinion)
