will a 450W psu handle a asus 5770cucuda?

so i am thingking to upgrading from a 9500 to a 5770 i will blow all my saving in to it so do i need to buy a new psu to?
What processor and ram do you have? I'm guessing that you'll be fine with just one and no overclocking.

and i looked again and i saw that it says "max power output 350W"

so i may have a prob right
Oh 350? Heh, yeah. Especially if it is an oem psu. It might fail even before it hits the marked limit.
I'd buy a new one if I were you. Like 500-600 watts name brand. They shouldn't be very expensive, especially if you happen to catch a sale.
Better than having your components fried from a failing power supply.

Yeah, do what Jak said. Minus well pay the price instead of taking the risk of destroying it and having to buy the parts again.

kk thx guys so i will save up some more and hupfully buy that time teh card is abit cheaperthen

i can get a 450W greenpower psu for about R399 (+-55$)
and the 5770 is R1999 (+-266$)
a 5830 is R2999 and that is to mutch for me
