I like it.
It's a good base.
The V with the arrow in it is a smart choice.

Work on this some more and you'll have a nice logo.

Lose the Tori though.
Also lose the bevel, the glow.
Keep it simple.

I do like it. It needs everything Alpha has mentioned. +I like transparent background. I might make up something based off of this if you don't mind. Just for fun.
