couple of forum features
can we have thing like "status" icons avaible to paste in posts showing if player is ingame or on forum,
example how it may look
[status]snake[/status]
which will return something like this:
snake
where green is online on forum and blue one is online ingame, clicking on blue will launch client and let you join, clicking on green will open new pm window
it will let you check if person you are looking for is avaiable and to get to him in mere click.

This feature pretty much exists already. If you go to someone's profile, and they are in game (or have been recently), it will show what server they are in and if you click the server it should open the game.

but for that you need to open each profile, while if this will be implemented the way described in OP you will be able to do it having a whole list of people infront of you.
