I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience using iPhones/iPads/iPods for live musical performances.

Do you know how to specifically hook up an iPhone to a mixer, and then to a PA system? Or from the iPhone directly to the PA System? Any help is appreciated.

I plan on having a single track of drums being played from my phone, while the rest of the band plays along with live instruments. I have a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable, but I'm not entirely sure how to use it.

Also, I wasn't sure if I should've posted this here or in music/movie chat. I posted it here, since it seems more technical, but I understand if it is moved.
