Hmm... The flame... maybe brighten it up a little, the black outlining makes all the black areas which can be really annoying to some players, and I do think they could be better without the black outlining, not sure, as I haven't seen how that looks yet.

Doesnt suit your colours, change the black rings to grey and it will improve :3

the entire flame is too prominent, it detracts from the set. people see bright flames instead of good textures

Hmm I actually like the contrast..
I shall try with grey, but the flames are black, so trying to make them gray will make them transparent.

contrast is good, but if you have a nice metalic, realistic type look, then vector flames arent for you.
those remind me of macperfects flames, but he has a vectorish style for his textures, so they work together.
shiney flames would look sick with your set
