So I am doing a request for someone and they wanted a mummy head. I was bored so I thought why not? I just thought of using realism in the head even though it was for 10k I used gimp and my trusty wireless mouse lol

They were. I used the dodge/ burn tool to add more of the highlights and midtones. I am thinking about copying some of the bandages to create a bigger field of interlocked bandages.

Style is good, but bandages, like tph said, are too random and with different angles.

Bandages' path should be more something like this to look realistic.



They have to go around the part of body they are covering. With that texture it seems that egyptians threw on his head a bunch of bandages.
