I suppose the nostalgia ones should come first.
1) LF2. I played this game way too often and learned how to do way too much in it. Was pretty chill though. (also thx arctic i remembered the game specifically due to this thread and i can play it again now)
2) Soul Calibur 3. I adored the Chronicles of the Sword story, it was around this time I also found about about "nuzlockes" and used the same principle for it too when I got pretty decent.
Should also sa that the actual main game "Tales of Souls" was always entertaining as well.
3) Dark Cloud. First game i ever played on a demo disk. It became almost a speedrun for myself and my younger brother to always get passed the next door or the next mini boss. We got to be pretty damn efficient at it too.
As for games I would happily call off of work to do right this second if I was handed the game + console (if required).
1) Stellaris. Just Stellaris.
2) Primal, this game came out in 2003, and it was also on a demo disk that I got later on. I couldn't understand the plot, the layouts were confusing, and the enemies were hard to beat. It, like Dark Cloud, gave me something to accomplish without having a certain goal or blockage in front of me. Oddly enough, I can barely remember a thing about the game now. Might be due to the concussion(s) but I think I'll play it again sometime soon.
3) Hard one but I think I'll go with Kenshi. It's my kind of 'Minecraft' really. Quietly hyped for Kenshi 2.
